Inner Worlds: a huge thank you
The response to Inner Worlds at Seventh Circle has been incredible.
Since opening the exhibition, we’ve welcomed hundreds of visitors through the doors, each bringing their own interpretations, questions and conversations. One of the most rewarding aspects of the show has been seeing how differently people connect with the work. Some are drawn to the emotional intensity of the portraits, while others find connections through memory, identity, landscape and personal experience.
For Tara Harris and me, Inner Worlds represents months of preparation and over 30 days of intensive painting, alongside our day-to-day commitments. What began as a conversation between two artists exploring inner and outer landscapes has grown into something much bigger than we imagined.
The Private View was a particularly special evening. The gallery was full of artists, collectors, friends, family and supporters, all sharing in the experience of the work. The atmosphere was warm, generous and filled with conversation.
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has visited the exhibition, shared it online, purchased work, or simply spent time engaging with the paintings.
A special thank you to the team at Seventh Circle for hosting the exhibition, and to Steven Norton for capturing the event so beautifully through photography and film.
If you haven’t visited yet, Inner Worlds continues at Seventh Circle until 5 July 2026 and we have a exit party on Friday 3rd July (Part of Digbeth First Friday) with the band Cries from the LTN
Thank you for being part of the journey.
