About the book
Paint Lingers pulls together the energy of the last few years in the studio. It brings together paintings from The Wonder Series, The Space Between Us, and the ongoing Impromptu portraits.
I wanted a place where these works could sit side by side, free from the rush of exhibitions or Instagram feeds. A book that acts as a marker… a moment to pause, gather, and look back.

Why Paint Lingers
A critic once said my work “lingers.” That line stayed with me. Paint does linger - in memory, in the mind’s eye, and in the echo of what it leaves behind. The title belongs to that feeling: something that sticks with you long after you’ve looked away.
I’m a print fiend. After twenty years in art direction, I’m obsessed with paper weight, finish, smell - the whole sensory hit of a freshly printed book. Every detail here has been considered: the stock, the sequence, the flow. It was a joy to finally design something for myself.
