In Full Flow Notes from the studio

Over the past few months, something really special has been quietly unfolding behind the scenes - In Full Flow, a new collective of painters I feel incredibly proud to be part of.
We’re a small group of women artists - myself, Tiggy, Sam, and Tara - brought together by friendship, shared energy, and a deep need to create from instinct. Though our individual practices are all different, there’s a rhythm that connects us. We each paint with a sense of urgency, of feeling, of movement - and that became the heart of this collaboration.
Martine’s process-led mixed media work is shaped by the landscapes she moves through. Sam’s bold, abstract acrylics balance chaos and control. Tara creates hauntingly beautiful dystopian landscapes, rooted in memory and mark-making. And I bring my own portrait-based work, always circling themes of intimacy, emotion, and expression.
Together, we formed In Full Flow - a name that speaks to those moments when you’re so immersed in making, everything else falls away. It’s about being fully present, led by the brush, the material, the moment.
We’re still at the beginning, but this collective already feels like home. A space to experiment, push boundaries, and share our work in new ways. We’ve got exciting things planned - including group shows and some honest conversations about process and practice.
More soon… but for now, I just wanted to mark the start. Because this feels like something important.
